The Invacare Ocean Ergo showerchair and Commode is the entry level modular showerchair from Invacare's Bathing and Hygiene range. The Ocean Ergo is designed to be a straightforward showerchair to use, adapt and maintain. Simple adjustments enable users of different heights and builds to use it safely with no tools required. 

The Ergo is made from a stainless steel frame coated in white paint for easy cleaning and has a three-year guaranteed rust protection status. Weighing 17kg and equipped with four large smooth-rolling castors the Ergo is easy for an attendant to push for users weighing up to 150kg. (For heavier users consider the Invacare Ergo XL which is rated for an additional 30kg). 

The Invacare Ocean Ergo comes as standard with an ergonomic height-adjustable seat which promotes the following principals of good seated posture:

• Maintaining good skeletal alignment
• Providing a stable base to support good function
• Promote increased tolerance of desired position
• Manage pressure and prevent the development of ulceration
• Decrease fatigue

Alongside ergonomic seating the Ergo features a tension adjustable seat back, length adjustable hangers and angle adjustable footplates, armrests and commode pan. 

Additional accessories are available separately which provide enhanced positioning support or additional pressure risk management. These include lateral supports, headrests, lap straps, visco soft seats and much more.
