The Invacare Propad Revolve Visco (V) cushion is one of three widely recognised cushions utilised in community settings. The Propad Revolve V is joined by the Propad Original and Propad Si. All three cushions provide good pressure management outcomes but which is prescribed typically depends on the risk level identified. 

The Propad Revolve V is rated as a 'high risk' cushion making it a good choice for various client needs. The cushion is constructed of two layers of durable and resilient foam on the top and bottom with a visco foam insert in between. The visco foam provides a slightly inferior response to pressure applied when compared to the Propad Silicon variant as it is unable to relocate to provide excellent immersion unlike Silicon gel. However, the Revolve V cushion is still a superb cushion in its class and is both less expensive and lighter than the Silicon cushion.

The Propad Revolve V is typically prescribed by us into nursing and residential homes where we have identified clients as being at increased risk of pressure ulceration due to their underlying illness or disability, or where they have scored as medium risk on a pressure risk assessment. The Propad V cushion is effective either way up (ie it has no top or bottom) which makes it very easy for care teams to swap across from one chair to another. The dartex outer cover is fluid resistant and easily wipeable if required.
