The Sunrise Medical Quickie Q700 Mid-Wheel Drive powerchair is a firm favourite among clients who need no compromise on their ability to lead the most adventurous lifestyle possible with a powerchair that's still capable of navigating tight turns and small spaces. The Sunrise Q700M (also available as the Q700R and Q700F) is a robust, powerful and remarkably capable chair indoors and outdoors especially. Featuring a totally different suspension system to the Q300 and Q500 called SpiderTrac 2.0 the Q700 is able to climb kerbs of 10cm without additional kerb climbers fitted, and remains planted with six wheels on the ground at all times. With an optional stability system using gyroscopic technology the chair is able to counteract terrain to maintain the required direction, especially useful for clients living in areas with adverse cambers or for those using special controls.

The Sunrise range of Q-chairs ranges from the Q100 up to the Q700 with each version offering additional functionality and chassis styles. Whether you're seeking an indoor only, indoor and outdoor, or outdoor only powerchair the Sunrise range is a must-try.

The Q700M has the widest wheelbase of the Sunrise powerchair range but is still just 62cm across the wheels. Please note the seating system can make the total width wider than this. The Q700 is the successor to the Sunrise Jive - a recognised and well respected chair in its time.

The Quickie Q700 M is a popular choice for clients seeking one chair to complete all of their daily activities in and who require modular seating. The Q700M is equipped with powerful 4-pole motors and available in speeds of up to 8mph, although for the best off-road performance the higher torque 6.5mph motor package should be chosen.

Full days travelling requires high reliability from the motors and batteries. Powering the dual motors are 60 Ah Gel gel batteries which can be upgraded to 80 Ah Gel for additional peace of mind. Supplied as standard with the powerchair is an 8 Amp charger which can be upgraded to 10 Amp when fast charging is required.

The Sedeo Pro seating system is fully customisable and given the vast range of seating options available forms a large part of any powerchair assessment. The Sedeo Flexible Backrest is fitted to most of our demonstrator chairs due to its versatility and comfort. The Flexi Back achieves high levels of support and immersion thanks to its combination of foam and tension-adjustable strap technology which accommodates a number of different postures and presentations. A deep contouring provides lateral support and a well fitted backrest can simulate that 'hug' feeling which indicates excellent contact is being achieved - great for pressure management and a sense of security.

The Sedeo Seating is highly accommodating and seat sizes range from 15-22" (width) and 16-22" (depth) with the maximum user weight 25 stone. Various powered options are available including seat tilt of up to 30 degrees, powered lift, reclining backrest, powered centre mounts or individual powered leg hangers.

For additional needs the system supports special controls including head-arrays, buddy buttons, quick access switches and more. The VR2 90 Amp control system comes as standard but most clients choose the R-Net 120 Amp system which enables more power options to be fitted and are expandable to suit special controls. R-Net also enables access to high definition colour LCD screens, infrared and Bluetooth connectivity so clients can control their home or office environmental control systems without needing a separate remote.
